چکیده
The underlying topography is an important part of the three-dimensional structure forests, and used for a variety applications, such as hydrology water resource management, civil engineering projects, forest surveying. Due to imaging ability strong penetration, tomographic synthetic aperture radar (TomoSAR) with long wavelength has been shown be useful tool estimate topography. At present, most current methods use local means method sample covariance matrix, in which vertical backscattering power estimated. However, these cannot easily obtain high-precision topography, often lose some detailed information. In this paper, solve problem, non-local introduced optimal matrix by combining weighted neighborhood pixels. To validate feasibility effectiveness proposed method, BioSAR 2008 campaign L-band dataset acquired from northern forests Sweden was inverse results show that accuracy retrieved improved more than 30% when compared traditional method.

Synthetic Aperture Inversion for Non-flat Topography
This paper considers Synthetic Aperture Radar and other synthetic aperture imaging systems in which a backscattered wave is measured from positions along a single flight track. We assume that the ground topography is known but not necessarily flat. We consider two cases, corresponding to the degree of directionality of the antenna. For the high-directivity case, we propose an imaging algorithm ...
متن کاملModified Edge Based Color Constancy Using Non-Local Means
The color constancy is a procedure that measures the influence of different light sources on a digital image. The goal of the computational color constancy is to account for the effect of the illuminate. Many traditional methods such as Grey-world method, Max RGB and learning-based method were used to measure the color constancy of digital images affected by light source. All these methods have ...
متن کاملInversion of Gravity Data by Constrained Nonlinear Optimization based on nonlinear Programming Techniques for Mapping Bedrock Topography
A constrained nonlinear optimization method based on nonlinear programming techniques has been applied to map geometry of bedrock of sedimentary basins by inversion of gravity anomaly data. In the inversion, the applying model is a 2-D model that is composed of a set of juxtaposed prisms whose lower depths have been considered as unknown model parameters. The applied inversion method is a nonli...
متن کاملForest Height and Ground Topography at L-band from an Experimental Single-pass Airborne Pol-insar System
Many applications require bare-earth Digital Terrain Models (DTMs) in the presence of forest canopy. L-Band is an attractive candidate, but the derived interferometric phase represents a combination of ground and volume scattering contributions from the canopy above. The use of PolInSAR techniques, and the Random Volume Over Ground (RVOG) Model has had considerable success in model inversion st...
متن کاملNon-local Means using Adaptive Weight Thresholding
Non-local means (NLM) is a popular image denoising scheme for reducing additive Gaussian noise. It uses a patch-based approach to find similar regions within a search neighborhood and estimates the denoised pixel based on the weighted average of all pixels in the neighborhood. All weights are considered for averaging, irrespective of the value of the weights. This paper proposes an improved var...
